1. PSG are a relatively young side, formed by a merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain in 1970.
2. Despite this, they are the most decorated club in France, having claimed 34 domestic trophies and one European.
3. The blue and red and the Eiffel Tower on the badge represent Paris, whilst the white represents Saint-Germain and the fleur-de-lys the royalty that resided there.
4. PSG has been owned by the Emir of Qatar since 2011. They have made the two largest transfer buys in football history (Neymar-222 million Euros and Kylian Mbappé-180 million).
5. Fashion designer Daniel Hechter was an early president of PSG. He created the iconic home shirt they wear today.
