1. Rennes is “Roazhon” in Breton, hence the name of the stadium.
2. The club colours reflect both secular (the red of the republic) and Catholic (the black of cassocks) values.
3. The stoats on the badge are inspired by the Breton flag, which features 11 stoats in a 4-3-4 formation.
4. After final defeats to local rivals Guingamp in 2009 and 2014, Rennes claimed their third Coupe de France with a shock win over PSG in 2019.
