2. The first of these came in 1914, when they won the longest match in German football history (153 minutes).
3. The first of two years in the 1. Bundesliga did not go well, as they became the first side not to win at home all season. They did better second time round, but still finished last.
4. Fürth’s rivalry with Nürnberg dates back over 100 years. A Fürth player was once hounded out of the club for marrying a girl from Nuremberg.
5. The clover is the city’s emblem and is of the 3-leafed variety, like Greek side Panathinaikos. Celtic’s has four.
